Dr Bisley has a broad range of experience in many areas of sports medicine. She has been involved a number of sports.
Dr Bisley has developed an interest in concussion and regularly sees athletes and non-athletes with concussion. She works as the match day doctor for Brumbies home games.
Dr Bisley developed a love for arts medicine after working with the New Zealand School of Dance. While working with the dancers she learned about the demands and expectations required of dancers.
As well as her interest in open water swimming she has been the lead doctor at the Canberra Marathon for over 10 years. She has also provided medical cover for triathlons in the past.
Dr Bisley was the club doctor for Canberra United Football from 2018-2022.
Dr Bisley has been involved with rugby for at least 20 years. She is the Brumbies Women's doctor and the match day doctor for Brumbies home games. In 2015 and 2016 she was the assistant doctor to the GWS Giants, for their Canberra games.
Dr Bisley was an open water swimmer and swam a number of long-distance ocean and lake swims in New Zealand and Australia. She has a good understanding of the demands of swimming and swimming related injuries.
In 2022 she was the team doctor for the World Para- Swimming Championships in Madeira, Portugal.
